Breaking It Down: Discovering Your Unique Style as a Choreographer

This one-on-one service focuses on assisting choreographers with exploring, discovering, and understanding their personal movement style and applying this new knowledge to their choreography. Choreographers will be guided through several improvisation exercises and deep reflection to discover their personal style. Once they are guided through these activities, the choreographer will work through a variety of movement skills as well as choreography to gain a deeper understanding of their personal style. Choreographers will also receive guidance on how their personal style can support their personal accomplishments as a choreographer. This service consists of three 1-hour sessions via Zoom and is highly suggested for new choreographers, new studio instructors, or choreographers in need of new inspiration.

Price: $120 for 3 sessions

Breaking It Down: Group Consult

This service is a version of the Breaking It Down: Discovering Your Personal Performance Style service. This service will briefly guide a group of dancers through discovering their personal movement patterns and teach them how their movement patterns can assist them with various forms of choreography and their daily dance classes. Not only will this information assist the instructor or choreographer with the training of their students, but it will also assist them in finding choreography that not only works for them but their students as a whole. This group consult is offered both live (in-person) or virtually via Zoom.

Pricing:

• Less than 5 participants: $20/person/hour

• 5-10 participants: $18/person/hour

• 10-15 participants: $15/person/hour

• 15-20 participants: $12/person/hour

Adding that Extra Spark: Group Consult

Do you ever feel that your choreography is great, but your performers aren’t adding that extra spark or “je ne sais quoi”? Often, the performers have not explored or uncovered the various stylistic efforts within the choreography that can bring the choreography and their personal expression to life. In this consult, we will review and explore stylistic efforts with the performers and work through the application of these efforts to your choreography. This group consult is offered both live (in-person) or virtually via Zoom.

Pricing:

• Less than 5 participants: $20/person/hour

• 5-10 participants: $18/person/hour

• 10-15 participants: $15/person/hour

• 15-20 participants: $12/person/hour

Choreography/Movement Consultation

Our founder/creator, Stephanie DeMarco, is available for hire as a choreography or movement consultant for color guards, winter guards, competitive dance programs, public school dance programs, etc. Stephanie has a unique flair for bringing forth the talents and styles of the performers and complimenting their talents and styles in her choreography. She also believes in varying the elements found within the choreography to keep the movement intriguing and engaging to the audience.
