About Us

Our mission is to spark personal growth, such as self-discovery, self-awareness, and empathy, through the creative elements found within the dance art form for both practicing and non-practicing dancers.

Stephanie DeMarco - Founder/Creator

Stephanie DeMarco has been teaching dance and movement for over twenty years. Her first opportunity to teach and choreograph was at the age of 16 when she was asked to put together a dance combination for the Troy High color guard, and she has been teaching ever since. Stephanie has worked with several color guards, specializing in movement. Most notably, she worked with State of Art Winter Guard on their show “Pay It Forward”. Stephanie also has experience teaching dance in the public education system as well as dance studios. Recently, she was a guest speaker for the University of Florida dance program. While she misses working with her students from the high school, studios, and color guards, she is excited about this new adventure as a teaching artist.

Stephanie’s training and love of dance started at the age of three when her mom put her in dance classes because she couldn’t stop dancing even when brushing her teeth. During her schooling, Stephanie was a competitive dancer and participated in musical theater and color guard. She holds a professional teaching certificate and a certificate in dance education from the National Dance Education Organization. In addition, Stephanie has completed coursework in teaching artistry for dance through Wayne State University and in movement adjudication through WGI. She is looking forward to becoming a Curriculum in Motion Artist after completing her training through Jacob’s Pillow Curriculum in Motion Institute.
